Michelle is a proud wife and mother and marvels at God’s perfect plan to make her both of those things. Never desiring to have a family, God has softened and changed her heart and not only given her 3 amazing biological boys (ages 9, 7 and 5) but also a heart for orphans and has adopted a beautiful little girl (age 3) out of the foster care system. She and her husband Jason of 13 years have seen firsthand God’s grace and mercy covering their marriage. Both she and Jason are first-born, strong-willed individuals who have learned to serve and respect one another only by the grace of Jesus.
Michelle has served in Christian ministry for the past 10 years, 7 years of that as a lead pastor’s wife and now serves as an associate pastor’s wife and all that entails. Prior to ministry, Michelle coached and taught junior high and high school after graduating from Dallas Christian College with a degree in Secondary Education and Bible. She also played four years of collegiate basketball and received numerous awards, including All-American.
After serving in ministry for several years, Michelle recognized the great burden of weight that many pastor’s wives carried and while feeling the weight herself, sought out coaching to have an unbiased third party to allow a safe space for her to share and process many of the daily hardships and victories of full-time ministry and motherhood.
Michelle has a soft spot for adoptive families, pastor’s wives and women in general who feel the worldly pressure of having it all together both inside and out. She believes that coaching offers individuals a safe space to be heard, set their own goals and become aware of obstacles that could hinder those goals and walk through life’s journey with the accountability of a coach who genuinely cares to see individuals reach their full God-given potential.
